Join account type - Select Join an existing banner account when setting up your account if you wish to join a FREE banner or have the ability to suggest and create a FREE public banner. The free public banner maximum size you can create is 70 (700 pixels) blocks by 70 blocks (700pixels), all other sizes will be deleted, please do not create a banner size bigger than 70x70. All advertisers who choose any other banner than the FREE homepage banner are required to display the banner they are advertising on, on the site their ad is linking to.
Buyer account type - Select Buy my own banner account when setting up your account if you wish to only view and manage your own custom banner(s).
Can I setup my account to be both a Buyer and a Swaper account? No, buyer accounts are only viewable and managable to the buyer. You can setup 2 separate accounts but you will need to supply a different email address when setting up your account. If you dont have a different email address just fake it (fake@fake.com) during account sign-up, then email us at support(at)pixelbannerswap.com and ask us to validate your second account. (Please specify SECOND ACCOUNT in the email subject).
FREE BANNERS To add your ad to our FREE BANNERS just sign up as a Join account, Select a banner, select your pixels, upload your image and link. No limit to the number of pixels but when a banner fills up well obviously that banner will be full. We reserve the right to deny any ad.
Cost for a private banner? A block is defined as a 10x10 square made up of 100 pixels. Each block is 0.10 cents US dollars. That's 10 pixels per penny. The size of your banner determines the cost. Multiply the number of blocks x 0.10. The maximum size you can create is 70 (700 pixels) blocks by 70 blocks (700pixels), all other sizes will be deleted, please do not create a banner size bigger than 70x70.
How long will you host my private banner and/or free banner that I joined? We will host your banner for the lifetime of this website. This site came online January 1, 2006, and is currently registered until January 9, 2009. You can view our url registration information here at Whois.com. Your purchases NEVER Expire and are good for the lifetime of this website.
Do I have to include the banner code snippet on my website? Absolutely not, if you only choose to advertise on the free homepage section although some people might choose to join the free homepage banner and choose to include it on their existing website. You might also choose to include their banner code in email or another internet marketing tool.
You DO have to include the banner if you choose to swap a targeted pixel banner of one of 20 categories and 7 sizes. Before your ad will become activated you must include the banner on the website in which your pixel ad is linking to, otherwise it will not be approved to be displayed.
How do I add my own custom PUBLIC banner? Simply log into your account and click on the My Account link at the top of the page and then select the Request New PUBLIC Banner button on the page. Your custom banner will automatically be created and immediately available publically in all public banner dropdown lists.
How do I add my own custom PRIVATE banner? Simply log into your account and click on the My Account link at the top of the page and then select the Request New PRIVATE Banner button on the page. Your custom banner will automatically be created and immediately available only to you in your banner dropdown list.
Is there a custom banner size limit? Currently the limit for free pixels is 1000 pixels or 10 blocks. However, all transactions on this website must go through an approval process.
Will a banner size ever change? No not if ads have been bought on that banner. Just suggest a new banner public or private.
I ordered pixels. When will the image show up in my banner? All orders are reviewed and approved the same day.
How do I sell pixels on my banner? Place your banner on your website and advertise your pixel space to your webiste visitors. You can setup a paypal account or another method of payment and charge any price you want. You are the manager of your banner, so when payment is received you can logon to your account and maintain your banner.
How do I insert my banner into my email? Easy, just modify your email signature to include your banner image and a link to your banner. For help setting up your email to include your banner please click here.
